This is one of my favorite weeks of the entire year, because Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Why? Because I love family time, I love good food, I love honoring one another with love, and, most importantly, I love to focus on what I am grateful for.
I spent all of last week in pure appreciation. I was in Alberta, Canada, leading my annual self-love retreat, and every day I practiced gratitude by being thankful for everything: my morning nature walks, the people who flew from all over North America to be part of the retreat, the Fairmont where we were staying. And you know what happened: With a dedicated gratitude practice, I felt better, I was happier, and my worries disappeared.
