We are all for the most part suffering from information overload. The information bombards us daily and it is all about the world, out there, what is happening. Whether it is social media, news, gossip or conversations, we are constantly taking in new information. A lot of the information is fear based and misinformation created to evoke responses and keep us sucked into the low energy so we can be controlled and manipulated. But if we want to awaken to our true power, we must detach from this fear-based information-overloaded world and step into serenity, and we do this by aligning with faith, which gives you freedom from fear. But what about the system itself, how is the system we live in keeping us stuck and in a perpetual state of overwhelm, panic and stress?
My friend Christine Arylo wrote a whole book on this topic. In her book Overwhelmed and Over It, she teaches that one of the root causes to feeling overwhelmed and off balance is the system we live in: “Your internal system has not been conditioned to handle the amount of information coming at you, nor the accelerated pace and intensity of today’s world, so you keep short-circuiting,” aka burning out and resorting to overwhelm and fear. I wanted to know more about how we can truly embrace our power and stay centered in such a chaotic world so I sat down with her to get some new tangible tools on how we can unplug from the matrix (if you will) and reclaim our power.
If you feel overwhelmed by stress (and who isn’t affected these days) and feel like you can’t slow down or escape your own overworked tendencies, today’s tips are golden. With these tips you will feel more balanced, grounded and calm.
She shines a light on the external forces that have pushed so many of us into self-sacrifice and how to reverse this cultural behavior. In this new podcast we discuss how to access your power to achieve what matters most, including receiving what you need and desire.
We also talk about:
- How to face uncertainty with honesty and focus and why it’s so important especially right now
- Identifying the key “imprints” and the operating system that has prevented us from feeling more free and aligned
- The importance of redefining success to be in balance with nature and the harmony of our hearts
- The 3 key inquires (inspired by ancient wisdom) to ask yourself to become in full alignment with your true self and those around you
- Powerful ways to embrace a new way of living that gives you clarity and courage to make choices in your day-to-day and overall life design that support and sustain you.
- The healing power of Earth and how we can work with the energy of the planet to heal

Self-Sustainability Stands for Creating Space
Instead of time talk rooted in lack, fear, resignation and helplessness, what if you spoke a self-sustainability code like this into reality?
- I need more space.
- I choose to create the space I need.
- I choose to create space for what matters to me.
- I choose to take the space I need, without guilt or apology.
- If the system or people won’t give me the space I need, I reset expectations.
- When I claim the space I need, the Universe supports me to create harmony.
Pause and read these words out loud. Consider what would be possible if you truly lived by these words. Read them so they really sink in; feel them. These are self-sustainability stands that can empower you to liberate yourself out of time-created overwhelm. I encourage you to use these to take a fierce stand for yourself in the moments you feel the pressure created by time starting to push you to make a self-sacrificing choice that stretches you to the point you get sick or miss out on what really matters to you. I offer these words to give you an alternative, so you can receive what you need to do the job, achieve the goals, and meet the diverse demands and desires of your life and relationships in a way that supports and sustains you.
