1. Happiness Comes from Within

Many others may be putting pressure on you to be happy—their happiness is dependent on you doing something—but the truth is, you could follow others’ wishes for you your entire life and they still won’t be happy. As long as we are looking for happiness outside of ourselves, it can never be fulfilled. Instead, focus on your own self and what makes you happy. You have your own compass within you that will lead you to happiness. Honor it and you will feel more free.

2. Appreciate Yourself

Make sure you approve of your own decisions. As you approve and appreciate your own desires, you will naturally feel more empowered.

Many times we don’t want to disappoint others, but in turn we are really disappointing ourselves. We worry about the lack of support from our loved ones, but this guilt is because we are not supporting our own self. To truly feel empowered, appreciate and honor your own desires.

3. Forgive the Unsupporters

You may have people in your life who are unsupportive. They don’t get you or your dreams. They may question your motives and think you are not being smart. Ignore them. Just keep trying the guidance you receive, and send the people who don’t support you love. Forgive them for not understanding you, but don’t let them get in your way or stop you from living your greatness. Many times others don’t understand your dreams because they aren’t for them—they are your dreams. So don’t let others bring you down; instead honor your own heart’s calling and live your dreams.
