Over the past few years, I’ve been hit with a series of experiences that seemed designed to completely take me down and out of life. A combination of life events that would knock anyone to their core. Including a diagnosis of a chronic muscle pain condition (fibromyalgia), surviving not one, but two natural disasters (wildfires and a category 5 hurricane), escaping an attempted home assault and robbery, identifying and healing from narcissistic, emotional and psychological relationship abuse, I became a full-time caretaker for 3 months with the loss of mobility in my dogs, Chance’s back legs, a lot of relationship betrayals from close friends, including a friendship with a person who turned out to be a master manipulating con-artist (who faked the entire friendship to steal a load of money from me), to losing family members and friends to death.
I share this not because I am a victim, nor am suffering in these dis-empowering stories, but quite the opposite; In fact, despite the pain of each of these rock bottom experiences, I have risen up higher, healthier, and stronger than ever before. The thing is when traumatic events happen to us, we have a choice, we can stay down or rise up, we can choose to fall into fear or lift higher into love.
Lift off I choose, I overhauled my entire life, by removing all toxicity, including the foods I ate, to who I surrounded myself with, to where I lived. I put up boundaries, stopped people pleasing, and started living for me. This change inspired from the inside has allowed me to step into a new era. One of flow, not force, grace and ease. Not only has this lead to two new book deals, but also two new oracle mantra card decks (more details coming soon), and a brand new beautiful brand new website www.RadicalBodyLovewithShannon.com
What helped me most during the challenges was routine and daily rituals. Radical self-care and self-love saved me. I’ve created this NEW web home base to empower us to reduce stress and harmonize our mind and body with our soul. I share recipes, rituals and daily tips to help us all thrive from the inside out.
